Justice has been Done

This flash did absolutely wonderful justice to the original short story by Edgar Allen Poe. I was skeptical at first, considering it was a Poe short redone in a Clock Crew flash. But as I watched the first installment I was just as captivated by the story as I was when I first read the original. Great work, man.

YOU FOOL! That was a worse cliffhanger than the ending to LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring! And just thinking that you ended this series with a CLIFFHANGER pisses me off, man. IT PISSES ME OFF!! Fool...

Newgrounds voters are getting really... REALLY lax, man. Seriously. This flash is ENTIRELY comprised of flash effects, with no animation to speak of... at all. And as I watched this flash and tried to make sense of the stupidity that was being displayed on the screen, I realized that this guy has absolutely no idea what he's going on about! Dreams aren't something that don't have a beginning or an end, and dreams aren't some kind of spiritual experience either. All dreams are, is the subconsious firing images into our mind during sleep.

Well I suppose I should actually talk about why this flash sucked eggs in general, then. Like I said before, there is NO animation. Just tweens, tweens, and more tweens. Maybe some cutting and pasting here or there, but mostly it was just tweens. The music was just a paino in the background, there was no plot, there was no logical order to speak of. Seriously, if you had turned this in as some kind of project, it would have been graded poorly at BEST. A lot of the images in this flash were simply cut and pasted in from your FORMER works, so barely any of this flash was drawn anyway. You must not have learned much about animation during the past, what, SIX things you've submitted to the portal, because this doesn't show me much talent. I'd much rather see a flash that was tween'ed, but still had a decent plot and movement as though the animation was thought through. This only proves my point, though, that FBF animation is the end-all of flash animation. Heck, my FIRST flash that I created was better than this, and people said that IT was horrible. My advice to you THIS time around, man: actually put some time and effort into your flashes. Then when you DO get portal awards, then at least you'll deserve 'em.

I am definitely glad that there are reviewers in Newgrounds that are critical. It will leave room for me to improve. From all the reviews that I read from you gives me a valid point to remake the series. Once I graduate from film school, I will remake the series with a well developed plot and an animation that will pass your expectations. Thanks for the comments.

WOAH WOAH WOAH!

Dude, WTF happened? Your last one was like, YEAH I GOTTA GET INTO THAT STUPID PINK WORLD WITH THAT STUPID PINK RABBIT! Now it's already way past that, and apparently he's already been through THARANTOS' NIGHTMARE...MARE...MARE... and now he's riding a floating island back to a life where he's freakin' DEAD ALREADY? Did you forget that part or something? HE WAS DEAD! You said he died in a car accident! How could he go back! JEEZ! You are seriously messed up in the head. Also, you couldn't really animate at all. The entire flash was compromised of Flash Pro effects. About a tenth of it was actual animation.

This One was Worse than the LAST One!

This was my impression of this flash:

Hey buddy! Look at me! I'm your conscience, which looks nothing like you and is wearing goofy headphones even though this is only a dream, and when you wake up from this area you will not only completely forget this conversation (WHY AM I TELLING YOU THIS THEN?!) but you will also be walking through an endless... field... of grass. Then you'll totally trip out, see some white ball floating through the air, and then the white ball will turn into a stupid looking rabbit that, for one reason or another, has a stupid pink ball dangling from its forehead like some kind of stupid hood ornament. Then the stupid-looking rabbit will point its finger at the sky and shoot a pink beam out of it (WTF?!?), which will then turn the sky pink, which, for some strange, strange reason, will open up a portal for you to exit the dream with. But if you exit the dream at the wrong time (How the frick are you supposed to know when the right time IS, anyway?) you will end up in THANATOS' NIGHTMARE... haha... his name is freakin' Thanatos... haha. And the only way out of that place is through his goofy looking ship, which for some reason he actually has. And one more thing, even though I just told you that you're dead, you still have a functioning mind, which is how you created this dream... yeah pretty freaking weird. I guess you're just abnormal. I mean, you DID imagine all of this stupid subject matter, and you dream of stupid looking rabbits that shoot pink beams from their fingertips. I guess it SHOULD be understandable if you have a working mind AFTER you died in a freakin' car accident. And not only that, but your mind convinced itself, even though it was DEAD, that it WASN'T dead, which makes absolutely no sense at all.

My advice to you, man: THINK BEFORE YOU WRITE!! And by the way, the music in all of your movies has sucked... really sucked.

Your Grammar was Much Better this time but...

This flash STILL sucked. The story is as shallow as ever, and I thought that whenever the dorky kid, Nick, changed direction that the sky and landscape were supposed to change color? Whatever, the REAL point of this review is to tell you that manga sucks, anime sucks, and that whole drawing style is as unoriginal today as it will be in the future, so hurry up and create your own style before somebody MURDERS you! It's for your own safety, man! They might be near you now!! HURRY!!!
